- AmBank will hold our employees accountable to the highest standard of conduct in ensuring the confidentiality of customer information. Customer information is limited to employees on a need to know basis.
- AmBank will hold any personal (nonpublic) information regarding our customers confidential and will NOT sell or distribute customer information except as mandated by Federal and State laws or as Subpoenaed; e.g., the State of Utah's Data Matching program performed by the Office of Recovery Services.
- AmBank does not authorize the companies that we do business with to sell or use our customers' personal information for purposes other than to provide our customers with services related to AmBank's products and services; i.e., check printers, data processors, credit bureaus, mortgage services, etc.
- AmBank will use its customers' personal information responsibly, in the normal course of business for their benefit, to provide them with improved products and services, and to reduce the risk of fraud and to comply with laws. We collect this information directly from our customers, through outside sources, such as, credit bureaus, and as it develops through the normal course of doing business.
- AmBank will use established procedures to accurately maintain our customers' personal information and to respond in a timely manner to customer requests to change or correct information.
- AmBank uses a combination of safeguards to protect our customers against the criminal or fraudulent use of their personal information.
- It is the policy of AmBank to not disclose nonpublic personal information about our customers to non-affiliated third parties, except as provided by law.
